NARIC/ENIC upplýsingaskrifstofa
Á kennslusviði Háskóla Íslands er starfrækt NARIC/ENIC upplýsingaskrifstofa samkvæmt samningi Háskólans og menntamálaráðuneytisins. Skrifstofan er starfrækt samkvæmt ákvæðum greinar IX. 2. gr. Lissabonsamningsins um viðurkenningu á menntun og hæfi að því er varðar æðra skólastig á Evrópusvæðinu. NARIC stendur fyrir National Academic Recognition Information Centres og ENIC stendur fyrir European Network of Information Centres, en slíkar skrifstofur eru starfræktar í þeim löndum sem aðild eiga að samningnum, og eiga þær með sér náið samstarf (sjá enic-naric.net). Norrænu ENIC/NARIC skrifstofurnar hafa með sér sérstakt samstarfsnet, sjá norric.org. Á íslensku upplýsingaskrifstofunni starfa Þórður Kristinsson, sem er forstöðumaður skrifstofunnar og Gísli Fannberg, verkefnisstjóri.

The Icelandic NARIC/ENIC office
The Icelandic NARIC/ENIC office is located in the Office for Academic Affairs at the University of Iceland according to an agreement between the University and the Ministry of Education. The University shall, according to the agreement, on behalf of the Ministry, discharge the functions of an information centre (NARIC/ENIC office) under Article 2 of Article IX of the Lisbon Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region. NARIC stands for National Academic Recognition Information Centres and ENIC for European Network of Information Centres. NARIC/ENIC centres are run in the signatory states of the Lisbon Convention and cooperate through NARIC/ENIC networks. The staff of the Icelandic NARIC/ENIC office are: Þórður Kristinsson, Head of the office and Gísli Fannberg, project manager.
